Black-oil PVT and material balance in your browser

Private WebAssembly tables for Bo, Rs, Bg, Bw, and Z — export METRIC PVTO/PVTG — then the same pack feeds the tank material-balance calculator (Havlena–Odeh, p/Z, Cole).

What’s in scope

Good fit

Quick black-oil tables, PVTO/PVTG include drafts, QC overlays against your reference TSV, pressure lists from production history.

Not this tool

Viscosity design, EOS / compositional PVT, ranking dozens of correlations, or a full integrated modelling suite replacement.

Correlations

Fixed pack with documented sources — short notes for SEO and scope:

Privacy

The PVT engine is compiled to WebAssembly (WASM) and runs entirely in your browser — like a small native program inside the page, not a call to our servers. Your fluid inputs and results stay on this device.

Waitlist and optional bug reports are separate: those emails are stored on our server for product updates when the endpoint is connected. Anonymous product analytics may record usage events (clicks); fluid numbers are never included.

Product updates

Occasional notes when the PVT pack or tank calculator changes. Calculators stay free — no account.

Waitlist email is stored on our server for product updates. PVT inputs stay in the browser.

Verification

Fixed pack: Vasquez–Beggs (Rs/Bo/Pb), DAK+Sutton (+Wichert–Aziz), exponential Bw; viscosity not computed. Standard conditions: METRIC (1.01325 bar, 15.5 °C), not editable.

Checked against listed external black-oil reference exports. On three oil cases, Bo tracks closely (RMSE ~0.04–0.09); Rs can diverge more (~4–13). Expect Bo to agree better than Rs — QC with overlays. High sour and extreme P/T may fail DAK. Full note: Correlations in the footer.

Material balance

The tank calculator is live on the same PVT pack: oil Havlena–Odeh / Campbell and dry-gas p/Z / Cole. Theory first: Havlena–Odeh notes. Email below is for product updates, not a waitlist to unlock the tool.
